Dalacin C

Dalacin C Information
Dalacin C is a drug with a generic name Dalacin C. Dalacin C is an antibiotic that helps fights bacteria in the body.

Dalacin C Indications

Dalacin C is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections. This medication is especially used for serious bacterial infections only because of its remarkable side effects. Dalacin C may also be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide.

Dalacin C Warnings

Before taking Dalacin C, tell your doctor if you have:

Kidney disease
Liver disease
Intestinal disease
Stomach disease
You may require a dosage adjustment or special monitoring during treatment or you may not be able to take Dalacin C if you have any of the conditions listed above.

It is not known whether Dalacin C would harm an unborn baby. Do not take Dalacin C if you are pregnant or could become pregnant unless otherwise your doctor tells you to do so.

Dalacin C is known to pass into breast milk and may affect a nursing infant. Do not take this medication without first talking to your doctor if you are breast-feeding an infant.

Dalacin C Intake Guidelines

Dalacin C is recommended that each capsule be taken with a full glass of water to reduce the risk of esophageal irritation.

To lessen stomach upset, take Dalacin C with food.

All of the Dalacin C that has been prescribed by your doctor must be taken even if you begin to feel better. Your symptoms may start to improve before the infection is completely treated. To get the most benefit, it is important that Dalacin C be taken regularly.

Dalacin C Dosage

Dalacin C should be taken exactly as directed by your doctor or as directed on the package. Ask your pharmacist, nurse, or doctor to explain them to you if you do not understand these directions.

Before measuring a dose, shake the liquid form of Dalacin C. Use a dose-measuring cup or spoon, not a regular tablespoon to measure a dose of the liquid to ensure you get the correct dose.

Dalacin C Overdose

Seek immediate medical attention if you suspect any overdose of Dalacin C.

Symptoms of a Dalacin C overdose are not well known, but the following may be expected:

Abdominal pain
Nausea
Vomiting
Diarrhea

Dalacin C Missed Dose

Take the missed dose as soon as possible, then take the rest of the day’s doses at evenly spaced interval unless otherwise the doctor tells you to do so. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the dose missed and take only the next regularly scheduled dose as instructed.

Dalacin C Side Effects

There are rare cases of severe and sometimes fatal pseudomembranous colitis, or commonly called diarrhea, that have occurred with the use of Dalacin C. If you experience diarrhea during or within several weeks following treatment with Dalacin C, contact your doctor immediately.
